Job Description

Summary

We are seeking an energetic and proactive Accountant who is eager to learn and contribute across multiple areas of Finance. This role is based in our Hanoi office and will primarily focus on APAC Accounts Payable operations and process improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Execute daily Accounts Payable activities, including vendor invoice processing, employee expense processing, payment execution, transaction accuracy review, and responding to internal/external supplier and audit inquiries.
  • Perform monthly Accounts Payable close activities, such as preparing manual journal entries, supporting the Accounting Team with close-related inquiries, reconciling vendor statements, and completing month-end account reconciliations.
  • Ensure full compliance with SOX requirements and internal policies for all AP-related tasks.
  • Resolve issues independently and proactively.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, communicate recommendations effectively, and provide expertise to enhance systems, workflows, and documentation.
  • Assist with other duties and ad hoc projects as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • 13 years of relevant experience in Accounts Payable.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-starter with strong problem-solving and time-management abilities.
  • Experience with SAP and Kofax ReadSoft is highly preferred.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines.
  • Strong Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.
