Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Accounts Payable Accountant, based in Ho Chi Minh City.
Key Responsibilities
- Review purchasing costs for each shipment and record data accurately into the accounting system.
- Monitor and reconcile accounts payable balances.
- Review invoices and prepare payment requests on time.
- Calculate and process withholding tax for foreign airlines (if applicable).
- Track purchase contracts, payment documents, and payment guarantees.
- Verify purchasing rates on airline systems and prepare periodic reports.
- Support other tasks as assigned by the Chief Accountant.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Auditing.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Accounts Payable.
- Good reading and writing skills in English (emails & documents).
- Strong attention to detail, good communication & time-management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Prefer candidates with experience in logistics, forwarding, or airline GSA/CSA.
