Job Purpose
Ensure all transactions are accurately and transparently recorded, fully complying with accounting and tax regulations; optimizing cash flow and minimizing financial risks.
Responsibilities
Accounting
- Monitor accounts receivable and accounts payable.
- Ensure accurate and timely accounting for all arising transactions.
- Issue invoices on time and reconcile data with accounting records.
- Manage cash flow, perform banking transactions, bank account ledgers, and store documents as required.
- Process payroll for employees in Australia, ensuring compliance with Fair Work Act, tax obligations, and related employment laws.
- Organize and store accounting documents and transaction records systematically to ensure easy retrieval and audit readiness.
- Collaborate with the HR department to resolve labor-related issues, labor disputes, and ensure legal compliance for employees (if applicable).
- Other tasks as assigned by the Board of Directors.
Qualifications
- Good English: IELTS 6.5, TOEIC 785 or equivalent.
- Knowledge of corporate law and Australian financial regulations.
- Understanding of tax regulations and financial reporting processes in Australia.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Logical thinking ability.
- Proactive, responsible, and compliant with policies and procedures.
- Ability to work independently.
- Priority is given to candidates with experience in Australian accounting software (Xero, MYOB).
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar position.
