Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position for an Accounting Specialist located in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. The Accounting Specialist will be responsible for preparing and analyzing financial statements, managing journal entries, and working with accounting software to maintain accurate financial records. Key responsibilities include tracking financial transactions, ensuring compliance with regulations, supporting audits, and applying analytical skills to provide valuable insights for the company's financial performance.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in preparing Financial Statements and handling Journal Entries
  • Knowledge of Accounting Software and familiarity with Finance concepts
  • Strong Analytical Skills for reviewing data and drawing actionable insights
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in accounting and financial reporting
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • Experience with Vietnamese accounting standards and practices is an advantage
  • Proficiency in English and Vietnamese is preferred
  • Strong organizational and time management skills

1.Cost Management Accountant

Prepared yearly budgets and monthly reforecast for all manufacturing, logistics, purchasing and operations groups

Prepared monthly financial reports containing operational spending analysis, cost analysis , expense analysis, variance analysis

Analyzing changes in product design, raw materials, manufacturing methods or services provided, to determine effects on cost, analyzing actual manufacturing costs and preparing periodic reports comparing standard costs to actual production costs

Improved business reporting, including increased analysis of financial information and improv ed controls

Providing management with reports specifying and comparing factors affecting prices and profitability of products

Making estimates of new and proposed product costs, making reports relating to costing for all plants at the factory and reporting it to a group for the purpose of appraising company activities

Assisted in the improvement of financial management and internal controls by creating and following up on policies and procedures to minimize and control loss of inventory

Developed, interpreted, and ensured the consistent application of inventory policies.

Helped coordinate the development and roll out of enhanced reporting processing with the goal of improving profit and cash management, ensuring data integrity, completeness and timeliness of reporting.

2.Inventory Accountant-Supervisor Accountant

Review and apply inventory activities, including movements and deletions

Maintain and update inventory records

Develop and implement efficient inventory management procedures

Preparing aging stock report, slow movement report, stock take report monthly.

Implement a loss prevention program

Report any stock issues to management and place product orders as necessary

Preparing a monthly/quarterly variance summary report that showed variances between the physical and book figures to support the audit function

Developed, interpreted, and ensured the consistent application of Inventory policies.

Making reports relating to costing for all plants at the factory and reporting it to a group for the purpose of appraising company activities
