Role Description<

The Accounting Product Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Hanoi. This role supports the design, configuration, and optimization of Genbook's accounting and finance features for e-commerce customers. Responsibilities include analyzing customer accounting processes, mapping them to product capabilities, and providing clear feedback to product and engineering teams to improve functionality. The specialist will assist with onboarding new customers, resolving product-related accounting issues, preparing documentation and training materials, and conducting product demonstrations focused on financial workflows. This role also involves monitoring product performance, identifying gaps in accounting features, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate, compliant, and user-friendly financial solutions.

Qualifications
Strong foundation in accounting, finance, or related field, with the ability to interpret financial statements and apply accounting principles to product workflows.
Experience working with accounting software, ERP systems, or financial tools used in e-commerce or technology-driven environments.
Ability to analyze business and accounting requirements, translate them into product use cases, and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Proficiency in creating user documentation, process maps, and training content that supports customers and internal teams.
Detail-oriented mindset, strong problem-solving skills, and comfort working with data to validate product behavior and reconcile discrepancies.
Effective written and verbal communication skills in English; Vietnamese language skills are beneficial for local collaboration.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
Experience in e-commerce, fintech, or SaaS product environments is a plus, along with familiarity with global payments, tax, or compliance considerations.
