Department: Accounting & Finance

Role: Temporary (9 months Contract)
The incumbent will oversee end-to-end financial accounting, reporting, and compliance for the Vietnam market, ensuring accuracy and alignment with local regulations and global standards, while acting as a key finance partner to manage distributor and factory financials, support year-end closing, and provide guidance on financial and control matters to drive sound business decisions.
As the Accounting and Control Manager you will:
Consolidated Financial Accounting
- Accountable for end-to-end accounting activities across JTI entities and local distributors, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with local statutory requirements and global standards.
- Lead the year-end closing process for the Vietnam market.
Accounting – Distributors
- Finalize distributor P&L (2026 and related periods), including support, reimbursement, and investment activities.
- Establish and standardize processes for new transactions between JTI and distributors (e.g., solutions, procedures, documentation).
- Manage distributor cashflow and treasury activities.
Accounting – Factory
- Manage quarterly cost variance and maintain/update transfer pricing.
- Finalize manufacturing fees and ensure proper reconciliation of factory-related costs (e.g., write-offs, spare parts handling fees, inventory valuation).
Internal Control & Business Partnering
- Support risk management, compliance certification, and internal control processes.
- Manage key account credit limit processes, including extensions and annual reviews.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders (e.g., factory, distributors, partners) on documentation and procedures.
- Provide advisory on accounting treatment, tax implications, and internal control considerations for new or complex transactions.
- Support finance-related projects and ensure proper maintenance of contracts and required documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in accounting, preferably within a multinational environment.
- Strong command of English, both written and spoken.
- Hands-on experience with SAP or similar ERP systems.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
