Position: Accounting Assistant
Working Location: TMS Building, 172 Hai Ba Trung, Tan Dinh Ward, HCMC
Reporting to: Assistant Accounting Manager
Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 9 AM – 6 PM

Position Overview
The Accounting Assistant supports core accounting, tax, payroll, and compliance tasks for clients, ensuring accurate bookkeeping, timely reporting, and full regulatory compliance. The role also coordinates with banks, authorities, and internal teams to maintain smooth financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Accounting & Bookkeeping
- Process financial documents and transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
- Maintain proper bookkeeping records for each client in accordance with accounting principles.
- Prepare monthly accounting reports aligned with company standards and client-specific requirements.
- Analyze financial data and support the preparation of financial statements and internal reports.
2. Tax & Payroll Compliance
- Assist in preparing monthly payroll calculations and periodic Personal Income Tax (PIT) declarations.
- Support the accurate computation and reporting of Value Added Tax (VAT), Corporate Income Tax (CIT), and Foreign Contractor Withholding Tax (FCWT).
- Ensure all accounting and tax activities comply with Vietnamese regulations and internal policies.
3. Social Insurance & Labor Reporting
- Handle Social Insurance, Health Insurance, and Unemployment Insurance (SHUI) procedures.
- Support labor-related reporting tasks to ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
4. Coordination & Administrative Support
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders (e.g., banks, tax authorities) to facilitate smooth financial operations.
- Address and resolve administrative issues related to accounting and finance tasks.
5. Other Tasks
- Perform additional duties as assigned based on business and operational needs.
Requirements
- Open to freshers majoring in Accounting, with preference given to candidates who have 3 to 6 months of prior internship experience.
- Solid knowledge of Vietnamese Accounting Standards (VAS) and their practical application.
- Basic understanding of Tax regulations (VAT, PIT, CIT) and the ability to prepare error-free tax reports.
- Ability to effectively manage daily transactions with banks and authorities on behalf of clients.
- Good communication skills in English.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel). Familiarity with accounting software is an advantage.
- Willingness to learn and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Positive attitude, coachable mindset, and team-oriented spirit.
