SUMMARY
We are looking for an Accountant to join our Finance & Accounting team, responsible for cost accounting and/or purchasing-related accounting activities to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in financial operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Record and verify purchasing transactions, materials, goods, and related costs in the accounting system
- Track and reconcile Purchase Orders (POs) with delivered goods and invoices
- Review invoice validity, supporting documents, and payment conditions before processing
- Accrue expenses for month-end closing to ensure accurate financial reporting
- Coordinate with Purchasing, Warehouse, and related departments to follow up on pending invoices and deliveries
- Participate in periodic inventory counts and handle discrepancies
- Support cost control, data reconciliation, and internal reporting as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- College or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Auditing, or Finance
- 12 years of experience in a similar accounting role (manufacturing or trading companies preferred)
- Good understanding of purchasing accounting and/or cost accounting processes
- Proficient in Excel; experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) is a plus
- Careful, detail-oriented, honest, and able to work under pressure
- Willing to travel for inventory checks at warehouses or plants when required
