Core responsibilities:

  • Client consultation: Meet with clients to understand their needs and challenges, then recommend the most suitable technical solutions.
  • Product demonstration: Create and deliver compelling presentations and demonstrations that clearly explain complex technical products.
  • Technical support: Provide pre-sales technical assistance and post-sales support (with technical support from manufacturers)
  • Solution design: Work with internal teams, such as engineering and design, to customise products or services to meet specific customer requirements.
  • Sales process management: Manage the sales cycle from lead qualification to closing deals and negotiating contracts.
  • Market and product knowledge: Stay up-to-date on new products, industry trends, and technical specifications.
  • Client relationship management: Build and maintain strong professional relationships with existing clients and seek new business opportunities.
  • Reporting and feedback: Create reports on sales and client feedback, and relay this information to Director.

Key skills:

  • Technical proficiency: Deep knowledge of the specific products or services being sold.
  • Sales and negotiation skills: Ability to persuade clients and negotiate contract terms.
  • Communication skills: Clearly explain complex information, listen to client needs, and relay feedback to Director.
  • Customer service: Provide excellent support and build strong client relationships.
  • Analytical skills: Ability to analyse client needs and market trends.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate effectively with the company sales team.
