Job Description

  1. Location: Ho Chi Minh City / Hanoi / Da Nang, Vietnam (Open to candidates based in these locations)

  8. Contract: MTS via Glints, with SHUI coverage.

About the Role

We are looking for an Account Manager (MICE Event Coordination) to support our growing hospitality business in Vietnam. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in the hotel and hospitality industry who understands the MICE ecosystem and enjoys building long-term client relationships while coordinating successful corporate events.

Working closely with the Business Development Manager, you will bridge the gap between business development and event execution by managing client accounts, preparing proposals, and coordinating Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions (MICE) projects from planning through delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Account Management

  • Maintain long-term relationships with hotel partners, venues, suppliers, and corporate clients.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts throughout the event lifecycle.
  • Understand client objectives and recommend suitable MICE solutions.

Proposal Development

  • Prepare customized proposals, quotations, and presentations based on client requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop competitive and commercially viable event solutions.
  • Support contract discussions and project handovers.

Event Coordination (MICE)

  • Coordinate execution of corporate meetings, conferences, incentive trips, exhibitions, and other business events.
  • Liaise with hotels, venues, vendors, and internal teams to ensure seamless event delivery.
  • Manage event timelines, budgets, and operational requirements.
  • Resolve on-site issues and ensure successful execution.

Stakeholder Management

  • Work closely with the Business Development Manager to support business growth in Vietnam.
  • Coordinate with hotel sales teams, event departments, and key decision-makers.
  • Develop strong partnerships across the hospitality ecosystem.

Requirements

Essential

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Account Management, Event Management, MICE, Hotel Sales, or Hospitality.
  • Strong understanding of Vietnam's hotel ecosystem and MICE industry.
  • Experience coordinating corporate events, conferences, meetings, or incentive programs.
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
  • Strong proposal writing and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Fluent in English communication.

Preferred

  • Experience working with hotels, event agencies, destination management companies (DMCs), or hospitality service providers.
  • Existing network within Vietnam's hospitality and MICE industry.
  • Familiarity with hotel sales structures and key decision-makers.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams.
