Job Description

  1. ROLE OVERVIEW:

The Account Manager is a key driver of client relationships, project delivery, and account growth within a fast-growing boutique agency. This role requires strong leadership, commercial acumen, and the ability to operate confidently in an agile, entrepreneurial environment. You will own assigned accounts end-to-end, lead internal teams, and work closely with the Business Director to deliver impactful work while growing client partnerships & revenue.

  1. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 
  • Build and maintain strong senior-level client relationships, grounded in a deep understanding of client business objectives, challenges, and KPIs.
  • Own project planning, timelines, and resource coordination to ensure delivery on time, on budget, and on brief.
  • Translate client briefs into clear strategies, scopes, and action plans for internal teams.
  • Proactively manage risks, scope changes, and client expectations while protecting agency quality and profitability.
  • Continuously improve ways of working to increase efficiency, quality, and team effectiveness.
  • Ensure all deliverables meet high standards of strategic thinking, creativity, and execution excellence.
  • Lead client meetings, presentations, and status updates with confidence and clarity.
  • Provide clear direction, feedback, and motivation to internal/ external teams to drive performance.
  • Lead and mentor Account Executives / Interns, ensuring clarity on priorities and performance.
  • Collaborative Strategy: Partner with the Creative and Planning teams to ensure that execution remains true to the Big Idea and strategic framework.
  • Account Growth Revenue: Deliver specific year-on-year revenue growth from assigned accounts.
  • Upsell / Cross-sell Contribution: Generate revenue from upsell or expanded scopes within existing clients.
  • New Business Contribution: Contribute to new business wins either by originating leads or supporting pitches.

  1. THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
  • Experience: 4-5 years of experience in Account Management. Candidates from global advertising agencies are highly preferred.
  • Result-driven Mindset: Proven track record in managing complex IMC campaigns across digital, offline, and PR channels with clear KPI measurement. 
  • Leadership: Strong people management skills with the ability to inspire and develop junior talent.
  • Agility: A Do more things than you think attitude—comfortable wearing multiple hats in a fast-paced, boutique environment.
  • Communication: Excellent presentation and negotiation skills in both English and Vietnamese.
