The Account Manager plays a key role in managing client relationships and ensuring the successful delivery of projects and services. Reporting to the Account Director, this role translates client priorities into actionable plans, coordinates with internal teams, and ensures high-quality deliverables. The Account Manager acts as the primary client contact, providing clear communication, structured execution, and timely resolution of issues.
Accountabilities / Key Responsibilities
Convert Pilot/Trial/Onboarding Customers to Full Scale and Build Long-Term Relationships
- Understand the business cases, decision-makers, power users, perceived value of our solution, and expectations to convert into yearly full-scale clients.
- Translate client goals into structured tasks and project plans; align cross-functional teams to ensure smooth execution and timely delivery.
- Track project progress, troubleshoot proactively, and adapt to changes to ensure deliverables meet agreed timelines and quality standards; review and validate outputs before client delivery; coordinate with internal teams to resolve issues and maintain high-quality standards.
- Understand priorities; summarize and prioritize requests; propose pragmatic, achievable action plans that address both short-term needs and long-term growth.
Ensure Client Satisfaction, Renewal, and Expansion of Solutions
- Continuously enhance the client onboarding process with consistent SOPs, materials, templates, and best practices.
- Maintain strong relationships with full-scale clients, understand their quarterly business priorities, and ensure our tools and services support them in delivering tailored reports and measurable outcomes.
- Build case studies with full-scale clients to showcase success stories and support sales and business development efforts.
- Ensure high levels of client satisfaction to drive renewal and identify early risks to client commitment.
Maintain High Data Accuracy
- Understand internal data structures, accuracy measurement approaches, and how clients evaluate and challenge data quality.
- Build and maintain processes and dashboards to track the data accuracy of each client; continuously update the Tech and Analytics teams on required fixes and improvements.
Develop Business Visualization and Actionable Insights
- Design and implement data visualization strategies with the Analytics team, converting raw data into meaningful dashboards, charts, and reports.
- Extract and interpret business insights from visualizations, data analysis, and reports.
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations to communicate insights during business reviews.
- Articulate insights effectively to clients through clear and impactful verbal and written communication.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Experience in data-driven or client-facing environments is an advantage.
- Practical experience working with CPG, retail, or e-commerce clients is expected
Experience
- 35 years of experience in account management, client servicing, or project coordination in a data-driven environment.
- Exposure to analytics, dashboards, and cross-functional project delivery.
- Strong familiarity with e-commerce dynamics and metrics (e.g., traffic, sales, conversion rate, CTR)
Technical Competencies / Skills
- Strong in organization, communication, and problem-solving.
- Deeply analytical & data-driven must enjoy working with data and metrics.
- Ability to track data accuracy, and design visualization strategies.
- Data and dashboard skills are central to success, with the ability to convert data into clear business insights.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
