JOB DESCRIPTION
As an Account Intern (Brand Acquisition) at UpBase, you will support the team in expanding our brand portfolio across key e-commerce platforms such as Shopee and TikTok Shop.
This role focuses on research, brand approach, consulting support, and onboarding, giving you hands-on exposure to how brands are acquired, evaluated, and prepared for growth.
You will be trained and supported to work on the following tasks:
Brand Acquisition & Research
- Research and identify potential brand partners across key categories (Beauty, Mom & Baby, FMCG, Electronics, Fashion, etc.).
- Build and maintain brand prospect lists, including basic brand profiling and market insights.
- Track market trends, competitor activities, and emerging brand opportunities.
Consulting & Account Support
- Support the preparation of pitching materials, proposals, and consulting decks.
- Assist Account Managers during client meetings and follow-up discussions.
- Support brand onboarding processes and coordinate with internal teams (Growth, Marketing, Operations) during early-stage collaboration.
- Help monitor brand performance during initial cooperation phases and collect brand feedback.
Reporting & Coordination
- Track basic acquisition KPIs and support weekly/monthly reporting.
- Consolidate insights to improve acquisition strategies and consulting approaches.
- Participate in team meetings, report progress, and support other tasks aligned with team objectives.
Requirement
- Final-year student or fresh graduate majoring in Business Administration, Marketing, E-commerce, or related fields.
- Strong interest in business development, account management, and e-commerce.
- Good communication skills; ability to work with both internal teams and external partners (English is a plus).
- Proactive mindset, detail-oriented, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Available to work full-time during the internship period.
