2. Project Overview:

We are looking for a highly qualified Academic Mentor to provide 1-on-1 guidance for a specific publishing project. The mentee is working on a compelling Comparative Literature paper, contrasting a Korean literary work with a Western one.

The ultimate goal of this mentorship is to guide the mentee in writing and successfully publishing their paper in a Scopus/ISI-indexed journal (Target: Q1, flexible to Q2-Q4).

3. Your Responsibilities:

As an Academic Mentor, you will serve as a dedicated coach from ideation to final submission:

  • Guide in sharpening the research topic, formulating research questions, and selecting the most appropriate literary texts.
  • Provide continuous feedback, ensuring academic rigor, logical flow, and adherence to international publication standards.
  • Advise on the selection of suitable journals and guide through the submission and peer-review process.

4. Who We Are Looking For:

  • Education: PhD, PhD Candidate, or Master's degree in Literature, Comparative Literature, or a closely related field.
  • Specialized Knowledge: Strong foundation in Comparative Literature, with a deep understanding of both Korean and Western literary landscapes.
  • Publication Record: A proven track record of at least 1-2 publications in Scopus/ISI-indexed journals, preferably in the Arts & Humanities/Literature domain.
  • Skills: Exceptional academic English proficiency; strong coaching and mentoring mindset.
