Role Summary
We are looking for a 3D Artist (Middle level) to create and optimize 3D assets for immersive environments, characters, and props used in Apple Vision Pro applications. This role also involves converting action footage and aerial imagery into realistic 3D environments using photogrammetry and advanced reconstruction techniques.
Responsibilities
- Design high-quality and realistic 3D models, textures, and environments.
- Convert action footage and drone/aerial imagery into 3D scenes using photogrammetry tools.
- Optimize 3D assets for performance on Vision Pro (polygon reduction, texture baking, LODs).
- Collaborate with developers and designers to integrate assets into immersive AR/VR applications.
- Assist in lighting, rendering, and visual effects for spatial computing experiences.
- Ensure assets follow AR/VR best practices and run smoothly across devices.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Blender, Maya, or similar 3D modeling tools.
- Hands-on experience with photogrammetry software (e.g., RealityCapture, Agisoft Metashape, Meshroom).
- Familiarity with action footage processing and 3D reconstruction workflows.
- Strong understanding of PBR materials, lighting, and AR/VR asset pipelines.
- Basic scripting knowledge (Python, C#) is a plus.
- Experience with Unity or Unreal Engine is highly beneficial.
- Good English communication skills to collaborate with international teams.
Nice to Have
- Previous experience creating assets for Apple Vision Pro or other AR/VR devices.
- Knowledge of spatial computing design principles.
- Experience in VFX, shader design, or procedural modeling.
