We are seeking a dynamic, results-driven, and guest-centric Assistant Director of Sales to support the development and execution of strategic sales initiatives that drive revenue growth and strengthen our market position. This role is ideal for an experienced hospitality sales professional who is passionate about building client relationships, leading high-performing teams, and creating exceptional guest experiences.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with corporate clients, key accounts, and business partners to drive hotel revenue.
- Identify new business opportunities and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
- Collaborate closely with Revenue, Events, Marketing, and Operations teams to maximize business opportunities.
- Support the Director of Sales in achieving departmental goals and overall hotel business objectives.
- Oversee performance of sales associates of different levels with specific responsibilities for recruitment and selection, orientation and training, motivating and coaching, development as well counselling and discipline
Requirements:
- Minimum 5–7 years of progressive sales experience in the hospitality industry. At least 2–3 years of experience in management role within hotel sales.
- Relevant education certifications
- Strong sales, prospecting, and business development capabilities.
- Experience managing corporate, government, leisure, and travel trade accounts.
- Strong understanding of hotel operations, sales processes, and revenue management principles.
- Strong account management and client retention skills
- Strong understanding of key hotel performance metrics including Occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, and Total Revenue.
- Good English speaking and writing proficiency.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and tech savvy. Familiarity with hotel systems and operational reporting tools is an advantage
