If you’ve ever looked for a job—and please introduce me to the lucky person who hasn’t—you know that the process can be both exciting and exhausting, exhilarating and exasperating. It’s a roller coaster of joyous highs (“They’re bringing me back in!”) and stomach-churning lows (“What did I just say?”).
To get through it with your sanity intact, you need to keep your emotions in check. Otherwise, you’ll ride the waves up and down on a daily or even moment-to-moment basis.
