Roles and Resposibilities:
- 8 to 12 years of relevant experience in Automotive Infotainment domain
- Understanding Architecture of Vehicle Infotainment System.
- Understand product release guidelines and align testing processes according to product release plan.
- Experience in Infotainment (IVI) requirements understanding and analysis.
- Working experience in infotainment feature development and validations
- Planning and manage test execution (resource allocation, weekly test report creation, error capturing)
- Leading software evaluation of infotainment features focused on specific assigned modules like BT/WiFi/Phone Integration, Audio Management, Diagnostics and CAN, Ethernet Interface, Tuner, Telematics Connectivity (Good to have at least strong expertise on 2 or more functional areas)
- Leading a team of 8-10 resources
- Support Project management activities.
- Maintenance of test benches (Software update , Hardware update).
- HW upgrade in test benches and handling issues related to it.
- Debugging issues and helping development team
- Helping team on technical aspect of project.
- Close sync up with Customer to understand customer need expectations also to resolve queries.
- Understanding of Bug life cycle and Defect Management.
- Create, execute functional and regression test plan based on feature requirement.
- Communicate and manage suppliers on infotainment software fixes.
- Handled Testing of following components
- BT/WiFi/SPI (Smart Phone Integration)
- Audio Management (Sound / Speech / Telephony)
- CAN and Diagnostic
- Infotainment Power Management, Performance and Persistency
- Car and Cluster Interface - Ethernet
- Tuner (AM FM)
- Telematics Connectivity (OCU) - Ethernet
- In requirement understanding and validation of connectivity interface of Infotainment system.
- Exp. In validation of Infotainment data to cloud and cloud to infotainment command interface functionalities.
- Exp. In validation of FOTA (Firmware Update of Infotainment via Connectivity Interface)
- Good Knowledge In various Cloud Communication protocols such as MQTT, TCP, HTTPS etc. Also, good knowledge of cloud security features.
Primary Skills:
- Very good understanding experience in Vehicle Infotainment Testing.
- Good Knowledge in BLE, Phone projection, HVAC, Navigation, Audio, Radio, Touchscreen, Network,
- Firmware update, Power Management, Media, Camera, Vehicle settings.
- 3.Good Knowledge on Media, Tuner, USB and Navigation.
- Very good understanding of Test Management activity.
