Job Description

About Fairground

Fairground is a B2B GTM data platform. We ingest, enrich, and structure millions of company and contact records across verticals, and turn them into reliable go-to-market signal inside our products. Data is the product — and how well we build the pipeline behind it is the business.

Why this role exists

Right now our data work — ingestion, enrichment, vertical expansion, quality — is spread across engineers with no single owner defining what to build or in what order. This role owns that. You'll be the person who turns a backlog of data projects into a sequenced, shipped roadmap, and who makes sure engineering builds the right thing the first time.

This is a high-leverage hire: the projects you unblock touch nearly every workflow in the product.

What You'll Do

  • Own the data platform roadmap end to end — ingestion, enrichment, matching, vertical data models, and the sync between our warehouse, CRM, and products
  • Turn ambiguous data problems into fully-specced, buildable projects
  • Prioritize ruthlessly across a large backlog: which verticals, which data sources, which quality fixes come first, and why
  • Own the data quality feedback loop — define how we catch bad data before customers see it, and drive the process to fix it
  • Evaluate and manage third-party data and enrichment vendors — coverage, quality, cost — and make build-vs-buy calls
  • Keep an eye on the cost side: AI and enrichment spend is a growing driver of COGS, and roadmap decisions move that number
  • Partner tightly with engineering, design, and GTM to ship — and be the connective tissue between what customers need and what the pipeline can deliver

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years in product management, with real depth on data products, data infrastructure, or technical/platform PM work
  • Technical fluency: you can read a schema, reason about pipelines and data models, and hold your own with engineers on trade-offs
  • A track record of shipping, turning messy, ambiguous problem spaces into sequenced roadmaps that get built
  • Strong instincts for data quality and entity resolution: what good data means and how to defend it at scale
  • Experience with third-party data vendors or enrichment is a strong plus
  • Comfort operating with high autonomy in a fast-moving, early-stage environment
  • Bonus: B2B GTM / sales-tech domain experience

Why Fairground

You'll own the roadmap for the layer that is the company. It's the highest-leverage seat on the product team — what you unblock ripples across the entire platform. High ownership, direct customer and revenue impact, and a team moving fast.
