Work you'll do

With Southeast Asia emerging as a major economic zone with a population nearing 700 million, Japanese companies are increasingly motivated to invest in the region. This position has been created as part of our efforts to strengthen our team dedicated to supporting the digitalization of business processes and data visualization for Japanese financial institutions in Southeast Asia, focusing on areas such as process design, data management, systems implementation, and project management.

As Senior Manager, you will demonstrate leadership within a mixed project team consisting of internal and external local members and JCS members, managing the entire project as a project manager while leveraging personal strengths to take responsibility for project case and client business development.

Requirements:

  • Experience working in mixed teams with local members to execute global projects
  • Experience in any of the following: operational process improvement, PMO for system implementation, or implementation support
  • Background in consulting or as a systems integrator (SI) with project experience serving clients in the financial sector (banking, securities, or insurance)
  • Proven track record of directly negotiating with clients and continuously securing and executing projects
  • Experience in overall project management
  • Native level Japanese and business level English or native level English and business level Japanese
  • Southeast Asia related consulting experience
  • Preferable qualifications include expertise in one or more of the following areas within the financial industry:
      • Banking: Knowledge of banking accounting and core systems, as well as peripheral operational systems.
      • Insurance: Understanding of the life and non-life insurance sectors, including foundational knowledge of core business operations such as insurance administration.
      • Securities: Familiarity with the securities industry, including insights into operational processes.
