Responsibilities:
- Coordinate, track, and verify rental equipment for yard operations.
- Present monthly facility/infrastructure maintenance reports to Management.
- Act as designated person for facility defect notifications and rectifications.
- Develop, prepare, and execute planned maintenance schedules with a team of shipyard maintenance staff.
- Lead a team to upkeep equipment, machinery, prime movers, and cranes (overhead, crawler, gantry, etc.).
- Ensure workshops, offices, gravel docks, slipways, and finger piers meet health and safety operational requirements.
- Support yard operations (e.g., dock lighting, dock gates, welding machines) in collaboration with other departments.
- Complete facility development projects on time and within budget.
- Vet and approve subcontractors equipment/tools for shipyard use.
- Manage subcontractors for facility upgrades and development.
- Prepare annual budget for tools and equipment.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Marine / Civil Engineering
- Experience in a strong technical background.
- 5-7 years of experience as a shipyard or plant facility manager.
- Proficient in Microsoft Projects, MS Office, and ISO standards.
