About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior System Analyst / Solution Architect with deep banking domain expertise and a strong track record delivering enterprise data and integration initiatives.
The ideal candidate will operate at the intersection of business, data, systems integration, and AI, translating complex banking requirements into scalable technology solutions while enabling GenAI and Agentic AI use cases across the organization.
This is not a pure development role. The successful candidate will be responsible for analysing business processes, designing end-to-end solution architectures, defining data and integration flows, and ensuring enterprise data is prepared and accessible for AI-driven initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Business & System Analysis
- Analyse business and technical requirements and translate them into solution architectures, system flows, data flows and integration designs.
- Work closely with business stakeholders, technology teams and enterprise architects to define scalable solutions.
- Conduct gap analysis, impact assessments and solution reviews.
- Challenge existing designs and recommend improvements to enhance scalability, reliability and maintainability.
Data & Integration Architecture
- Design end-to-end integration solutions across banking applications and enterprise data platforms.
- Define APIs, event-driven integrations, batch pipelines and data exchange mechanisms.
- Oversee data mapping, transformation, reconciliation and quality controls.
- Collaborate with upstream and downstream application teams to establish data contracts and interface specifications.
- Support integration across enterprise data lake and cloud ecosystems.
AI Enablement & Innovation
- Lead solution design for GenAI and Agentic AI initiatives.
- Design architectures supporting:
- Document ingestion
- Knowledge management
- Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG)
- Agentic workflows
- AI orchestration frameworks
- Enterprise search and intelligent automation
- Ensure data is structured, governed and accessible for AI applications.
- Partner with AI and engineering teams to operationalize AI solutions within banking environments.
Delivery & Governance
- Support SIT, UAT and production implementation activities.
- Ensure compliance with banking security, risk and governance standards.
- Maintain architecture documentation, process flows, interface specifications and solution artefacts.
- Coordinate across application, data, infrastructure, security and business teams.
Mandatory Requirement
- s10+ years of experience as a System Analyst, Technical Business Analyst, System Integrator, Solution Architect or similar role
- .Strong banking or financial services industry experience
- .Proven experience delivering enterprise-scale data and integration projects
- .Hands-on experience with Python and SQL for data analysis, automation and integration activities
- .Strong knowledge of REST APIs, data pipelines, ETL processes and enterprise integration patterns
- .Experience working with enterprise data platforms and data lake environments
- .Demonstrated experience delivering Generative AI solutions
- .Hands-on experience with Agentic AI frameworks, AI orchestration platforms or autonomous workflow solutions
- .Strong understanding of RAG, embeddings, document ingestion and AI data preparation techniques
- .Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
