Job Title - Sr. Mendix Developer

Work Location - Bangalore, Chennai, Mumbai

Work Mode - Hybrid

The ideal candidate is a self-motivated, multi-tasker, and demonstrated team-player. You will be a Sr. Developer responsible for the development of new software products and enhancements to existing products. You should excel in working with large-scale applications and frameworks and have outstanding communication and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy applications using the Mendix low-code platform.
• Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Develop reusable microflows, nanoflows, domain models, pages, and widgets.
• Integrate Mendix applications with REST, SOAP APIs, databases, and third-party systems.
• Optimize application performance, security, and scalability.
• Perform code reviews and maintain application quality using Mendix best practices.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Collaborate with business analysts, architects, QA engineers, and stakeholders. • Maintain technical documentation and deployment procedures.
• Mentor junior Mendix developers and support knowledge-sharing initiatives.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of experience in Mendix application development.
• Strong knowledge of Mendix Studio Pro and the Mendix platform.
• Experience with Mendix Marketplace components and custom widgets.
• Proficiency in Microflows, Nanoflows, Domain Models, and Security.
• Experience with REST and SOAP web services.
• Knowledge of Java actions and custom Java development within Mendix.
• Experience with SQL databases such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React (preferred).
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance tuning skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Mendix Intermediate or Advanced Developer Certification.
• Experience with Mendix Data Hub and Workflow.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Mendix Cloud.
• Knowledge of OAuth, SSO, SAML, and security best practices.
• Exposure to Docker and Kubernetes is an advantage.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. Preferred Experience.
• 5+ years of IT experience with at least 4 years focused on Mendix.
