Plan, coordinate, and supervise piling and foundation works to ensure projects are executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project requirements.
Review engineering drawings, specifications, and geotechnical information to support project planning and execution.
Prepare and review technical submissions, method statements, work procedures, and risk assessments.
Lead site teams and coordinate with project managers, consultants, clients, subcontractors, and relevant stakeholders to facilitate smooth project delivery.
Monitor site progress, productivity, resource allocation, and project schedules to achieve project milestones.
Ensure piling works are carried out in compliance with approved methodologies, quality standards, contractual requirements, and workplace safety regulations.
Conduct site inspections, quality checks, and technical reviews to ensure workmanship meets project specifications.
Review pile installation records, testing results, and project documentation.
Identify, investigate, and resolve technical and operational issues arising during construction.
Prepare progress reports, technical reports, and project records for management and clients.
Support project planning, procurement activities, cost control, and resource management.
Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers and site personnel.
Promote a strong safety culture and ensure adherence to Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) requirements.
Job Requirements
Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related discipline.
At least 8 years of relevant experience in piling, foundation, geotechnical, or civil engineering projects.
Strong knowledge of piling and foundation construction methodologies, site operations, and project management practices.
Experience in planning, coordinating, and supervising construction activities on site.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, geotechnical reports, and technical documents.
Familiarity with quality assurance procedures and workplace safety requirements within the construction industry.
Strong leadership, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple project stakeholders effectively.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications knowledge of AutoCAD and other engineering software will be an advantage.
Willingness to work on construction sites and support project operations as required.
Preferred Skills
Experience managing piling and foundation works for large-scale building, industrial, infrastructure, or civil engineering projects.
Familiarity with pile testing, instrumentation, and technical submissions.
Experience leading project teams and coordinating with consultants, clients, and subcontractors.
