We are hiring a Senior Network Engineer to join a global Network Operations Center supporting a highly resilient, latency-sensitive infrastructure environment. This role focuses on ensuring network reliability, performance, and fair access across critical platforms.
The position combines deep networking expertise with modern automation and AI-assisted operations. You will work in a fast-paced, client-facing environment, handling real-time monitoring, complex troubleshooting, and customer onboarding across global networks
A key aspect of the role involves developing automation solutions using Python, APIs, and AI-based tools to improve operational efficiency, reduce incident resolution time, and enhance monitoring capabilities. This is a hands-on engineering role requiring strong technical judgment, communication skills, and the ability to operate independently
Key Responsibilities
Customer Connectivity & Provisioning
- Manage onboarding and certification of client connectivity across global data centers
- Implement and maintain network configurations for customer-facing infrastructure
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to validate connectivity and access
- Support scheduled testing and change activities
Customer Support & Communication
- Provide technical support to clients and internal stakeholders
- Manage support tickets and ensure clear, timely communication
- Communicate planned maintenance and infrastructure updates
- Participate in an on-call support rotation
Monitoring & Incident Management
- Monitor network performance and system availability in real time
- Detect, troubleshoot, and resolve network and connectivity issues
- Drive incident response to minimize downtime and impact
Escalation & Troubleshooting
- Act as an escalation point for complex technical issues
- Work cross-functionally with engineering and infrastructure teams
- Lead root cause analysis and incident resolution efforts
Automation & AI Enablement
- Develop automation tools using Python and APIs
- Leverage AI-assisted solutions to improve monitoring and troubleshooting
- Contribute to building a modern, software-driven NOC environment
Packet Analysis & Problem Management
- Perform packet-level analysis to troubleshoot advanced issues
- Investigate network anomalies and data integrity concerns
- Document findings and support continuous improvement initiatives
Candidate Profile
Education & Certifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred
- Industry certifications (e.g., Cisco, AWS, CompTIA) are advantageous
- Exposure to network automation using APIs
Technical Skills & Experience
- Strong experience in network engineering (routing, switching)
- Proficiency in routing protocols (BGP, OSPF)
- Experience with cloud networking environments (e.g., AWS)
- Knowledge of packet analysis tools and UNIX/Linux environments
- Familiarity with monitoring tools and dashboards (e.g., Grafana)
- Exposure to automation and AI-driven operational tooling is a plus
