Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, your job responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Manage grants, assets, inter-funds transfers, and tax reporting to ensure accurate financial administration for the town council
- Monitor and ensure compliance with financial reporting guidelines to maintain regulatory standards
- Prepare and review the annual budget to support financial planning and resource allocation
- Perform budgetary controls and manage arrears to optimize financial performance
- Prepare financial statements that accurately reflect the town council's financial position
- Maintain proper records of financial transactions to uphold strong internal controls
- Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by superior to support finance operations
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Diploma / Degree in Accounting / Finance /ACCA with 3 - 5 years of full-set accounting experience
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Excel and Word
- Strong analytical skills to interpret financial data and meet tight deadlines under pressure
- Meticulous attention to detail and ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team
- Prior supervisory experience and staff management skills are advantageous
- Availability to start within a short period is preferred

- Working Location: Northwest - Bukit Gombak
- Work Schedule: 8:30 am - 5:30 pm (Mon-Fri) 8:30 am to 12:30 pm (First Sat of each month)
