Senior Executive - E-Commerce Ops & Data Analysis

MIS Executive – India Marketplace Business

At Styli, every commercial decision is backed by data. As the MIS Executive, you will support the India Marketplace Business team by maintaining accurate, timely reports and dashboards that enable the business to track performance and make informed decisions.

This role is central to ensuring data accuracy, timely reporting, and smooth flow of information across pricing, promotions, assortment, inventory, and marketplace performance. You will work closely with the Commercial Analytics and Marketplace Business teams to keep reporting systems running reliably and efficiently.

1. MIS Reporting

• Prepare and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports for the India marketplace business.
• Build and update dashboards in Power BI/Excel to track sales, traffic, conversion, pricing, promotions, and profitability.
• Ensure timely and accurate data consolidation from multiple marketplace channels and internal systems.
• Flag data discrepancies or reporting errors proactively.

2. Data Management & Support

• Extract, clean, and organize data using SQL and Excel for reporting and analysis purposes.
• Support the Commercial Analytics team with data pulls and ad-hoc report requests.
• Maintain data hygiene and ensure consistency across reporting templates and dashboards.
• Assist in tracking key metrics such as GMV, revenue, margins, conversion, returns, discounts, and inventory health.

3. Marketplace Reporting

• Track and report category and channel-wise performance across marketplaces.
• Update trackers for pricing, promotions, and inventory data on a regular basis.
• Support the business team by providing accurate, ready-to-use data for decision-making.

4. Cross-functional Coordination

• Coordinate with Buying, Planning, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, and Operations teams to gather and validate data inputs.
• Ensure reports and dashboards meet the formatting and data requirements of different stakeholders.
• Escalate data or system issues to relevant teams for timely resolution.

Qualification & Experience:

• 3-5 years of experience in an MIS, Reporting, or Data Analyst role, preferably in e-commerce, marketplace, or retail environments.
• Working knowledge of marketplaces such as Myntra, AJIO, Nykaa Fashion, Amazon, Flipkart, or Meesho is an advantage.
• Strong hands-on skills in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, formulas).
• Working knowledge of SQL for data extraction (mandatory).
• Experience with Power BI (mandatory).
• Good attention to detail and accuracy in handling data.
• Basic analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills and ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
• Ability to manage reporting timelines in a fast-paced environment.
