Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated Release Train Engineer (RTE) to facilitate Agile Release Train (ART) execution and support large-scale Agile delivery programs. The RTE will collaborate closely with Product Managers, Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Architects, and delivery teams to ensure alignment, collaboration, and successful Program Increment (PI) execution.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate Agile Release Train (ART) ceremonies and events.
- Coordinate and support Program Increment (PI) Planning activities.
- Organize and facilitate Scrum of Scrums meetings.
- Track ART progress, milestones, and PI objectives.
- Identify, manage, and escalate risks, issues, and dependencies.
- Collaborate with Product Owners and Scrum Masters to ensure delivery alignment.
- Support Inspect & Adapt workshops and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Drive dependency management across multiple Agile teams.
- Monitor Agile metrics such as velocity, predictability, and team performance.
- Ensure adherence to Agile and SAFe practices across teams.
- Prepare program status reports and executive dashboards.
- Facilitate stakeholder communication and coordination.
- Support release planning and deployment activities.
- Promote collaboration, transparency, and Agile culture across teams.
- Assist in coaching teams on Agile best practices and continuous delivery principles.
Mandatory Skills
- 3-5 years of Agile project/program delivery experience.
- Experience working in multi-team Agile environments.
- Proven Agile management experience.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in Cloud, Data Engineering, Databricks, or Digital Transformation programs.
- Exposure to DevOps and CI/CD practices.
- Experience working with distributed/global teams.
- Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, MS Project, and Power BI.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Certifications (Preferred)
- SAFe Release Train Engineer certification.
- Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or equivalent.
