Job Description

Responsibilities

  1. Develop and execute sales strategies to expand the company's ship management business.
  2. Identify and pursue new business opportunities with ship owners, ship managers and maritime stakeholders lobally.
  3. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients to secure long-term ship management contracts.
  4. Prepare and present commercial proposals, service agreements, and management fee structures tailored to client requirements.
  5. Lead contract negotiations and manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting to contract award and onboarding.
  6. Collaborate closely with technical, marine, crewing, HSSEQ, and finance teams to ensure service offerings meet client expectations.
  7. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, fleet movements, vessel acquisitions, and industry developments to identify growth opportunities.
  8. Represent the company at maritime exhibitions, conferences, networking events, and industry associations to enhance brand visibility and generate leads.
  9. Maintain accurate sales forecasts, CRM records, pipeline reports, and business development activities to achieve revenue targets.
  10. Achieve annual sales, profitability, and fleet growth targets while contributing to the company's overall strategic objectives.

Requirements

  1. Bachelor's Degree in Maritime Studies, Marine Engineering, Nautical Studies, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  2. Minimum 5-7 years of commercial, business development, chartering, technical, marine or ship management experience within the maritime industry.
  3. Strong network and relationships with ship owners, operators, ship managers, and maritime decision-makers in Asia and internationally.
  4. Proven track record in securing ship management contracts, maritime services agreements, or related commercial business with measurable revenue achievements.
  5. Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work independently and travel internationally when required.
