We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Executive to support sales of construction equipment in Singapore.
This is a B2B, customer-facing role focused on contractors and subcontractors. The role requires proactive customer engagement, regular follow-ups, and the ability to work in a target-driven environment. Candidates should be comfortable with on-site visits and building relationships within the construction industry.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales & Customer Engagement
- Identify and develop new sales opportunities within the Singapore marke
- Engage with contractors and subcontractors to understand project requirements
- Conduct regular customer visits, including site visits where require
- Recommend suitable products and prepare quotation
- Follow up consistently to convert enquiries into sale
- Achieve assigned sales targets and KPIs
2. Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers
- Ensure timely response to customer enquiries and issues
- Maintain customer satisfaction through reliable service and communication
3. Market Awareness
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs
- Identify potential business opportunities within the assigned segment
4. Sales Reporting &Administration
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities in CRM/SAP system
- Prepare basic sales reports and updates
- Process sales orders and ensure proper documentation
- Coordinate with internal teams (logistics, finance, customer service) for order fulfilment
5. Product Knowledge
- Develop a working understanding of company products and applications
- Stay updated on industry practices and customer requirements
- Provide basic product advice and coordinate with technical teams when necessary
6. Others
- Support company activities such as product demonstrations and events
- Ensure compliance with company policies and export regulations
- Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned
Job Requirements
- Minimum Diploma in Engineering (preferably Civil, Electrical/Electronic, Mechanical/Mechatronics) or related discipline
- Candidates with relevant work experience, especially in the construction equipment industry, may be considered in lieu of formal qualifications
- 2-3 years of sales experience in construction, engineering, industrial, or related sectors preferred
- Candidates with prior customer-facing or sales experience are welcome to apply
- Comfortable working in a target-driven and customer-facing environment
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Willing to conduct outdoor/site visits as part of the role
- Basic product training will be provided candidates are expected to be proactive in learning
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office SAP knowledge is an advantage
- Preferably possess Class 3 driving license and own transport
