Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring priorities align with business goals and regulatory requirements
- Translate business needs into clear user stories, functional requirements and acceptance criteria
- Lead Agile ceremonies including backlog grooming, sprint planning and prioritisation activities
- Track project deliverables and drive timely execution of digital initiatives and enhancements
- Partner with business and technology stakeholders to manage expectations, dependencies and solution delivery
- Review business processes to identify opportunities for optimisation, automation and improved user experience
- Support testing, production releases and post-implementation activities while providing direction to development and QA teams
The Successful Applicant
A Successful Candidate Should Have
- At least 5 years of Product Owner experience within the financial services industry
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Technology, Digital or a related discipline
- Proven track record delivering digital platform enhancements and Agile projects
- Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders across business and technology teams
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and conceptual thinking capabilities
- Familiarity with AI/GenAI, automation, data-driven solutions and digital architecture concepts such as APIs and integrations
- Self-motivated and adaptable individual with strong attention to detail and hands-on experience using tools such as JIRA, Confluence or Figma
