Job Description

Job Title: Java Developer

Location: Bangsar South, Kuala Lumpur

Employment Type: Contract

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Java Developer to join our team and contribute to the design and development of large-scale, high-performance internet systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to build scalable, reliable, and maintainable applications using modern Java technologies.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain large-scale internet applications.
Apply strong Java fundamentals, including JVM principles, memory models, multithreading, and network communication.
Work with databases and middleware such as MySQL, Elasticsearch, Redis, and MQ.
Research and implement performance optimization and high-availability solutions.
Build scalable microservices using Maven, Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud.
Apply object-oriented principles and design patterns to ensure clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
Participate in system design, code reviews, and technical discussions.

Job Requirements

Minimum 3 years of experience in designing and developing large-scale internet systems.
Strong foundation in Java and in-depth understanding of JVM architecture.
Hands-on experience with MySQL, Elasticsearch, Redis, and MQ.
Knowledge of performance tuning, scalability, and high-availability system design.
Proficiency in Maven, Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud.
Solid understanding of object-oriented design and common design patterns.
Good command of English and Chinese (spoken and written).

Nice to Have

Experience with distributed systems and microservices architecture.
Exposure to cloud environments and containerization tools.
