Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented IT Business Analyst to support the delivery of technology projects and business initiatives. The successful candidate will work closely with business users, technical teams, vendors, and stakeholders to gather requirements, analyse business processes, coordinate project activities, and support system implementation efforts.

Key Responsibilities

Business Analysis & Requirements Management

  • Gather, analyse, and document business and system requirements from stakeholders.
  • Conduct requirement workshops and stakeholder interviews to understand business needs.
  • Prepare Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Specifications, user stories, process flows, and logical diagrams.
  • Perform business process mapping and identify opportunities for process improvements and automation.
  • Apply design thinking methodologies to enhance user experience and operational efficiency.
  • Support system testing activities including test planning, test case preparation, execution, defect tracking, and user acceptance testing (UAT).

Project Coordination & Delivery Support

  • Coordinate project activities across internal teams, vendors, and business stakeholders.
  • Track project progress, deliverables, milestones, risks, and issues.
  • Facilitate meetings, workshops, status updates, and project documentation.
  • Support service requests, change requests, and project governance activities.
  • Monitor project schedules and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
  • Assist in resource tracking and project reporting.

Documentation & Asset Management

  • Maintain project records, documentation repositories, and audit trails.
  • Support IT asset management and inventory tracking activities.
  • Ensure project documents are updated, organised, and maintained according to governance standards.

Stakeholder Management

  • Collaborate effectively with business users, technical teams, vendors, and management.
  • Communicate project updates, risks, and issues to relevant stakeholders.
  • Build strong working relationships across multiple functional teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or equivalent role.
  • Experience working in Agile, Scrum, or hybrid project environments.
  • Strong experience in requirements gathering, business analysis, process mapping, and documentation.
  • Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies.
  • Experience supporting system implementation, testing, and deployment activities.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Good analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
