Job Summary
Lead and support a team to deliver exceptional customer experiences, maintain operational standards, and manage store activities efficiently at Boost Juice.
Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service by engaging warmly and personally with each customer to create a positive Boost Experience
- Develop and share product knowledge to assist customers effectively
- Ensure all team members arrive and depart on time and communicate staffing issues to management promptly
- Maintain team members personal appearance and uniform standards according to company guidelines
- Monitor and support team completion of training using the Boost E-Network (BEN) system and Operational Procedure Guide (OPG)
- Open the store 10 minutes before and close 10 minutes after scheduled times when on shift
- Schedule team breaks to avoid disruption to store operations and ensure breaks last the agreed 30 minutes
- Maintain accurate daily staff hours records for all team members on shift
- Participate in store promotional activities and off-site events as directed by management
- Keep the store clean and presentable throughout the shift, adhering to Station Guides and SOPs for all work areas
- Prepare products following approved procedures and use only the best raw ingredients, reporting any issues to management
- Monitor stock levels of prepared ingredients and escalate unresolved shortages to management
- Deliver products within critical wait times as specified in Station Guides
- Maintain food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards in compliance with the Operations Manual and legislation
- Identify and implement opportunities to improve store operations and OPG standards
- Collaborate actively with team members to foster a professional, fun, and efficient work environment
- Communicate management messages accurately to all team members
- Promote a friendly and outgoing atmosphere while ensuring high-quality customer service and driving sales through customer focus and upselling
- Maintain honesty and openness in interactions with team members, management, customers, and suppliers
- Maintain a safe and healthy work and shopping environment at all times
- Report any safety, security, or operational issues promptly to management
- Follow all security procedures and policies, including cash control policies when assigned cash drawer responsibilities
- Count and document store cash float accurately at shift start and end using Cash Summary Sheets
- Adhere to HACCP procedures to ensure food safety
- Complete weekly and monthly stock takes and delivery logs on time according to guidelines
- Ensure all daily administrative documents are completed before shift handover or closing
- Maintain accurate administrative paperwork as assigned by management during shifts
- Complete all assigned duties before leaving or handing over the shift and inform the next Shift Lead of any incomplete tasks
- Deposit daily sales takings to the company bank account promptly, or notify management if deposits cannot be made as scheduled
- Ensure store promotions and posters are displayed and operational according to the Marketing Calendar
