Position: Finance Lead
Location: Mumbai (Remote)
Experience: 3+ Years

About The Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical
Finance Lead to oversee the company's financial operations, ensure regulatory compliance, manage financial reporting, and provide strategic insights to support business growth. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in MIS reporting, budgeting, forecasting, taxation, audits, and vendor management.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting & MIS
- Prepare and maintain accurate MIS reports for management and stakeholders.
- Track and reconcile revenue from multiple business channels.
- Monitor and record organizational expenses with proper documentation.
- Prepare monthly Profit & Loss (P&L) statements and financial analysis.
Payments & Compliance
- Process timely payments to vendors and consultants.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, including GST, TDS, PF, PT, and related filings.
- Verify sales revenue for incentive calculations.
- Ensure adherence to financial and legal compliance standards.
Budgeting & Financial Planning
- Assist in budgeting and financial forecasting.
- Analyze revenue, costs, and business performance.
- Recommend cost optimization and process improvement initiatives.
Audits
- Act as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for internal and external audits.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure audit readiness.
Dashboard & Reporting
- Prepare monthly financial dashboards for management and key stakeholders.
- Present financial insights to support strategic decision-making.
Vendor & Inventory Management
- Coordinate with vendors for procurement, invoice verification, and payment follow-ups.
- Monitor inventory records, stock movement, and reconciliations.
- Resolve inventory and operational issues efficiently.
General Finance Operations
- Manage banking-related activities.
- Coordinate with external accounting and Chartered Accountant (CA) firms.
- Handle additional finance-related responsibilities assigned by the leadership team.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) is mandatory.
- M.Com or equivalent qualification is preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of corporate finance experience.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Knowledge of CRM and financial management tools.
- Good understanding of taxation, GST, TDS, and statutory compliances.
- Experience working in a startup environment is an added advantage.
