Job Responsibilities
Marketing-
- Assist in implementing marketing activities across various channels, including the website, social medial, and events
- Manage and maintain social media accounts to ensure consistent engagement and brand presence
- Collaborate with management to develop and execute business development and marketing strategies that support Maxwell Chambers growth objectives
- Build, strengthen, and manage relationships with new and existing clients, partners, and stakeholders to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty
Events-
1. Take ownership of the planning and management of the annual events calendar, ensuring alignment with business goals and brand positioning
2. Conceptualise, plan, and execute high-impact online and in-person events-including conferences, networking sessions, and partner engagements-to foster strategic relationships with clients, institutional partners, and sponsors
3. Oversee all aspects of event logistics, from vendor coordination and communications to onsite execution and post-event evaluation, ensuring seamless delivery and exceptional attendee experiences
4. Analyse event outcomes and feedback to measure success, identify improvements, and enhance future programming
5. Undertake additional marketing and event-related initiatives as assigned to support organisational priorities
Secretariat Support -
- Assist in the administration and coordination of secretariat services provided by Maxwell Chambers to professional bodies, industry associations, and institutional partners
- Assist with the planning and execution of meetings, training programmes, webinars, conferences, and networking events organised under Maxwell Chambers secretariat portfolios
- Support stakeholder engagement and communications with council members, committee members, speakers, trainers, sponsors, members and external partners
- Coordinate logistics and administrative matters relating to secretariat functions, including venue arrangements, event registrations, and post-event follow-up
- Assist in preparing meeting materials, presentations, reports, minutes, and correspondence for secretariat-related activities
- Assist in maintaining accurate records and documentation in line with organisational policies and governance requirements
- Support membership administration, database management, registration processes and participant communications for secretariat clients
- Other work that may be assigned to you.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Degree or diploma in Marketing, Communications, Business, Event Management or a related discipline. Relevant professional experience in marketing, events, or stakeholder engagement may be considered in lieu of formal qualifications.
- Proven experience in event planning, coordination and execution, including vendor management, stakeholder engagement and onsite event support
- Experience engaging with senior professionals, corporate clients, government agencies, professional bodies or institutional stakeholders would be advantageous
- Familiarity with CRM systems, administrative processes and document management
- Proactive, resourceful, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Team-oriented with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions
- Ability to maintain confidential information with professionalism and discretion
- High attention to detail with sound judgement and problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage senior legal stakeholders
