Cloud DevOps Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a Cloud Engineer with strong hands-on experience in AWS and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to design, build, automate, and support secure, scalable cloud environments. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in AWS services, Terraform development, cloud automation, and CI/CD practices.

In this role, you will work closely with architecture, engineering, and operations teams to deploy and manage cloud infrastructure, improve automation, and ensure high availability, security, and operational excellence across enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage secure, scalable, and highly available AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
• Develop reusable Terraform modules and support multi-tenant and multi-region deployments.
• Manage Terraform state, version control, and infrastructure lifecycle across environments.
• Integrate Terraform deployments into CI/CD pipelines to enable automated infrastructure provisioning.
• Deploy and support containerized workloads using Amazon EKS and related AWS services.
• Configure and manage AWS services including EC2, EKS, ECR, Lambda, S3, VPC, Systems Manager (SSM), Load Balancers, CloudWatch, and CloudTrail.
• Monitor cloud environments, troubleshoot issues, and participate in incident response and root cause analysis.
• Implement cloud security, governance, compliance, and cost optimization best practices.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to improve cloud reliability, performance, and automation.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, deployment procedures, and operational runbooks.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 4+ years of hands-on experience designing and managing AWS cloud infrastructure in production environments.
• Strong experience with AWS services, including:
• Amazon EC2
• Amazon EKS
• Amazon ECR
• AWS Lambda
• Amazon S3
• AWS VPC
• AWS Systems Manager (SSM)
• Elastic Load Balancers (ALB/NLB)
• Amazon CloudWatch
• AWS CloudTrail

Advanced Terraform experience, including:

• Developing reusable Terraform modules
• Multi-tenant and multi-region infrastructure deployments
• Terraform state management at scale
• CI/CD integration for Terraform deployments
• Experience with container platforms and Kubernetes, preferably Amazon EKS.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
• Proficiency in PowerShell and/or Python scripting.

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate or Professional) certification.
• Microsoft Azure certifications are a plus.
