Job Description: Business Development Manager – Project Sales

Role Overview
CenturyPly is seeking a dynamic and result-driven Business Development Manager to drive growth in the Project Sales segment. The role focuses on developing strong relationships with architects, builders, contractors, and key stakeholders while actively driving site-level conversions.
Key Responsibilities
· Identify and develop new business opportunities in project sales (residential, commercial, institutional).
· Drive specification and approvals for CenturyPly products in ongoing and upcoming projects.
· Conduct regular site visits to track project progress and ensure product visibility.
· Influence purchase decisions at the site level through relationship management and technical inputs.
· Build and maintain strong relationships with architects, interior designers, and consultants.
· Conduct product presentations and ensure brand specification in project designs.
· Work closely with dealers/distributors to ensure product availability and timely supply.
· Support channel partners in closing project orders.
· Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
· Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies.
· Maintain detailed records of project pipelines, client interactions, and sales forecasts.
· Provide regular updates to management on business progress.
Key Requirements
· 8-10 years of experience in Project Sales, preferably in plywood, laminates, building materials, or allied industries.
· Strong experience in site visits and direct architect interactions.
· Proven track record of handling large projects and achieving sales targets.
· Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
· Ability to work independently and manage multiple stakeholders.
· It shall be an individual contributor role with no team handling.
· Must have a two wheeler or a four wheeler with license.
Preferred Skills
· Strong network with architects, builders, and contractors.
· Technical understanding of interior/building materials.
· High level of ownership and result orientation.
