Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Automation Test Engineer with strong experience in Java, Playwright, BDD, and Cucumber. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in designing and developing scalable automation frameworks, executing automated test scripts, and ensuring high-quality software delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts using Playwright with Java.
• Build and enhance automation frameworks using BDD (Behavior-Driven Development) and Cucumber.
• Develop reusable test scripts for web applications.
• Create and execute test scenarios, test cases, and regression test suites.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA teams to understand requirements and define test strategies.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with development teams for resolution.
• Integrate automation scripts with CI/CD pipelines.
• Maintain test documentation and provide regular status updates.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Required Skills

• 6 years of experience in Automation Testing.
• Strong programming skills in Java.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright automation.
• Experience with BDD frameworks using Cucumber.
• Good understanding of Selenium/WebDriver concepts.
• Experience with TestNG or JUnit.
• Knowledge of Maven or Gradle.
• Experience with Git version control.
• Familiarity with Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or other CI/CD tools.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
