Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to establish and strengthen a robust pricing infrastructure and governance model that delivers measurable business impact. You will develop and drive pricing strategies across the Electrification business area portfolios to maximize profitability, competitiveness, and market share. You will also play a key role in enhancing customer value perception and ensuring alignment with ABB's commercial excellence standards.

The work model for the role is: Hybrid

This role is contributing to the Electrification divisions in Asia Pacific. Main stakeholders are Sales, Product Management, Finance, Local Business Units, and Global Pricing teams.

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Developing and deploying effective standard and special pricing strategies aligned with global division strategy, customer value, competitive landscape, and cost-to-serve
  • Establishing pricing governance, policies, and guidelines, and ensuring consistent adherence across countries, channels, and business units
  • Acting as a strategic partner to Sales and Product teams to optimize deal structures, margins, and value-based pricing approaches
  • Leading pricing performance monitoring, identifying gaps, and proposing corrective actions to improve profitability and market positioning
  • Defining and implementing pricing frameworks, tools, and analytics to support data-driven decision making
  • Managing and enhancing global pricing processes, including transfer pricing where applicable, ensuring consistency across regions
  • Supporting large/complex bids with pricing insights, approvals, and risk assessment
  • Driving pricing excellence initiatives, including capability building, training, and continuous improvement across the organization

You will join a collaborative and commercially driven team where you will have the opportunity to influence strategic decisions and drive tangible business outcomes across a diverse and fast-paced region.

Qualifications for the role

  • You are highly skilled in pricing strategy, commercial analytics, and margin optimization, ideally within the electrification, energy management, or building technologies sectors
  • You have 8-10+ years of experience in pricing, commercial excellence, finance, or product management roles
  • Experience working in industrial, electrical, or B2B technical environments is strongly preferred
  • You possess strong expertise in pricing tools, CRM/ERP systems (e.g., SAP), and data analytics platforms (e.g., Power BI, Excel advanced modelling)
  • You are analytical and strategic, with a strong ability to translate data into actionable commercial insights
  • You are a confident communicator, able to influence senior stakeholders across functions and cultures
  • You hold a degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field
  • You are fluent in English (additional APAC languages are a plus)
