Our client is a fast-growing regional consumer business with a strong presence across APAC, driven by innovation, product excellence, and rapid market expansion. As the business continues to scale, they are looking for an APAC FP&A Manager / Finance Business Partner to strengthen their regional finance capabilities and play a key role in shaping business decisions.
This is a highly visible role partnering closely with senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders across multiple APAC markets. Beyond traditional reporting, the focus will be on turning financial insights into actionable strategies - driving profitability, improving performance, and supporting sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead regional FP&A activities including budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, and performance reporting across APAC markets.
- Consolidate and analyze regional financial performance, providing meaningful insights on revenue, margin, cost drivers, and business trends.
- Partner with commercial and operational teams to identify growth opportunities, risks, and areas for profitability improvement.
- Drive end-to-end margin optimization initiatives, working closely with business leaders to identify opportunities, implement improvements, and track measurable outcomes.
- Develop financial models, dashboards, and KPIs to enhance visibility of business performance and support strategic decision-making.
- Translate complex financial data into clear business insights and recommendations for senior leadership.
- Support regional business reviews and present key findings, risks, and opportunities to leadership teams.
- Act as a finance business partner to country teams, challenging assumptions and influencing decisions to improve business outcomes.
- Drive continuous improvement of FP&A processes, tools, and reporting frameworks to support scalability as the business grows.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across different time zones, including APAC and occasional global teams.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business, or related disciplines.
- 5–8+ years of experience in FP&A, commercial finance, business partnering, or related finance roles.
- Strong experience managing budgeting, forecasting, P&L analysis, and financial performance reviews.
- Proven ability to move beyond reporting and provide insights that influence business decisions.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to connect financial performance to business drivers.
- Experience partnering with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with large datasets and build financial models.
- Advanced Excel and financial modelling capabilities.
- Self-driven, adaptable, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
