Department: Marketing / Singapore Operations

Want to build more than just social media posts

AmLife Singapore is looking for a Digital Marketing & Community Associate who enjoys social media, content, people and digital marketing - and wants to grow into a more well-rounded marketer.

This is not just a social media posting role.

Social Media . Content Creation . Digital Ads . Lead Generation . CRM . Customer Engagement . Canva / Creative . Retail Marketing . Events . Regional Marketing

You will work closely with the Singapore team while also collaborating with AmLife's Regional Marketing team.

What You'll Be Doing

Manage AmLife Singapore's social media platforms.
Plan and maintain a local content calendar.
Create Reels, Stories, static posts and short-form content.
Create simple visuals, posters and marketing materials using Canva or similar tools.
Handle basic photo/video editing and content capture.
Adapt Regional Marketing content for the Singapore audience.
Respond to social media and WhatsApp enquiries.
Manage and follow up digital leads.
Support Meta / Facebook / Instagram advertising campaigns.
Track digital campaign and lead performance.
Support Singapore retail promotions and events.
Support selected regional events and marketing activities when required.

Lead generation is part of the role. We expect Marketing to contribute towards creating real business opportunities, not just likes and followers.

Marketing Activity → Consumer Response → Lead → Opportunity → Business Outcome

Comfortable Creating Content

That's a big advantage. We appreciate people who enjoy:

Reels and short-form videos
Social media
Canva / simple design
Photography
Video capture
Basic editing
Writing captions
Content ideas
Experimenting with new creative formats

You do not need to be a professional designer or videographer. We appreciate someone with a good visual eye, creative curiosity and willingness to try.

Comfortable On Camera

Sometimes our Marketing team becomes part of the content too. You may occasionally appear in Reels, social videos, event content, product/lifestyle videos, simple explainers or behind-the-scenes content.

Professional acting experience is not required. We simply want someone who is comfortable, natural and willing to participate.

Digital Marketing & Lead Generation

You will progressively support digital campaigns across Meta / Facebook / Instagram and learn to monitor areas such as:

Leads generated
Cost per lead
Lead quality
Response rate
Appointment or trial interest
Sales handover
Campaign performance

Experience with Meta Ads or digital lead-generation campaigns is an advantage. If you do not already have extensive experience, we value someone who has the digital aptitude and willingness to learn.

CRM & Customer Engagement

Respond to customer enquiries through WhatsApp and social media.
Answer questions about AmLife, products, promotions, outlets and events.
Identify qualified or time-sensitive leads.
Follow up where appropriate.
Route sales opportunities to the Singapore Sales team.
Maintain proper lead and enquiry records.

Marketing attracts, engages and nurtures. Sales takes ownership of conversion when appropriate.

How We Work

Skills matter. But attitude and mindset matter just as much.

Learn Fast: You do not need to know everything. You do need to be willing to learn, ask, research, try and improve.

Think Before Doing: Understand why something is being done rather than simply following instructions.

Take Ownership: If something is entrusted to you, take responsibility and follow it through.

Collaborate Strongly: We work closely as a team. No one succeeds entirely alone.

Think Independently: Teamwork does not mean waiting for someone to tell you every next step.

Be Resourceful: When something does not work, think about alternatives.

Be Adaptable: Priorities can change and new opportunities can appear quickly.

Be Resilient: Not every idea will work the first time. Learn, adjust and try again.

Be Coachable: Feedback is part of growth.

Collaborate strongly. Think independently. Own your responsibility.

Our Approach to AI

Yes, we use AI. But our principle is very clear:

AI supports our brain. It does not replace it.

We use AI to improve creativity, research, productivity and efficiency. You are still expected to think critically, check information, question outputs, apply human judgement, understand the context and develop your own point of view.

Retail, Events & Regional Exposure

This role may occasionally support retail promotions, consumer activations, roadshows, workshops, PR / KOL activities, brand events and Regional Marketing activities. Occasional travel to Malaysia or other regional markets may be required.

Some experiences may be exciting. Some may be tiring. Often they will be both. But we believe some of the best learning happens by being part of the actual process.

Who We're Looking For

Enjoys digital marketing and social media.
Comfortable creating content and using Canva or similar tools.
Has basic visual/design awareness and enjoys photography or video.
Comfortable occasionally appearing on camera.
Communicates well with people and is organised with follow-up.
Willing to learn digital advertising and new tools.
Can work independently and also work well in a team.
Takes responsibility, is proactive, curious and adaptable.

Experience in social media, digital marketing, retail, wellness, events or consumer marketing will be an advantage.

Growth Opportunity

Digital Marketing & Community Associate → Digital Marketing Executive → Senior Digital Marketing Executive → Assistant Marketing Manager / Marketing Manager

Progression is based on demonstrated capability, ownership, performance and readiness - not tenure alone.
