Key Responsibilities:

Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities within government ministries, statutory boards, and public sector organizations.
Own the entire sales lifecycle—from prospecting, pipeline generation, and RFP/tender response management to contract negotiation and closing.
Build and nurture long-term strategic relationships with key public sector decision-makers, procurement officers, and key stakeholders.
Collaborate closely with pre-sales, technical, and delivery teams to architect and present tailored IT solutions, services, and system integration projects that address client challenges.
Monitor public sector procurement trends, upcoming tenders, competitive landscapes, and policy changes to formulate winning strategies.
Maintain accurate sales pipelines, forecasts, and reporting using CRM tools to consistently achieve or exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets.

Requirements:

5 to 12 years of progressive B2B technology sales experience, with a proven and verifiable track record of selling IT solutions specifically to public sector clients.
Strong preference for candidates with direct experience working in an IT system integrator (SI) environment.
Deep understanding of enterprise IT services, cloud solutions, software integration, cybersecurity, and digital transformation initiatives tailored to government requirements.
Demonstrated success in managing complex public sector procurement processes, RFPs, RFIs, and government tenders.
An established network of contacts and relationships within public sector IT procurement and decision-making bodies is a strong advantage.
Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to articulate technical value to non-technical stakeholders.
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
