Key Responsibilities:

Financial Data Analysis and Budgeting

Develop and execute financial planning and budgeting strategies.
Analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide insights to support decision-making.
Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and stakeholders, including monthly PL and variance analysis
Monitor financial performance and implement strategies to optimize profitability and efficiency.
Develop financial models to assess the impact of various business decisions.
Conduct scenario analysis and sensitivity testing to support strategic planning.

Cash Flow Management:

Maintain and forecast cash flow to support business operations.
Optimize working capital and recommend strategies for cash flow improvement including close monitoring of Accounts Receivable and Payable and improving those metrices.

Working with business stakeholders :

Directly collaborate with business development stakeholders. Help with financial data points that they would require.
Generate weekly and monthly reports to help them with data linked visibility.
Team up on certain specific projects for the overall betterment of business

Compliance / Governance aspects :

Any regular support activities with the controllership-finance team
Managing audits, work with auditors as needed and implement improvement suggestions from the same.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA/CA/CPA is a plus)
5-7 years of experience in financial planning & analysis (FP&A), business finance, or similar roles
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and translate into actionable insights
Hands-on experience in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
Solid understanding of cash flow management, working capital, and financial modeling
Proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets (advanced formulas, modeling); familiarity with financial tools or ERP systems is a plus
Ability to work cross-functionally with business teams (Sales, Marketing, Operations) and influence decision-making
Strong communication skills – able to present financial insights clearly to non-finance stakeholders
High attention to detail with strong ownership and accountability
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities

Preferred:

Experience in EdTech / startup / high-growth environment
Exposure to stakeholder management across regions (VN / TH / India)
Understanding of revenue-driven business models (B2C sales, pipeline, conversion metrics)
