General Accountant

Role Summary

The General Accountant plays a key role in building and maintaining the financial backbone of RCA.

Working closely with the founder and leadership team, this role requires both execution and ownership. You are not just managing numbers, you are helping build the financial system that supports the company's growth.

Key Responsibilities

1. Accounting Operations

Record, verify, and maintain financial transactions across company entities.
Monitor revenue, expenses, receivables, payables, assets, and cash flow.
Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation.
Record and issue invoices in accordance with Vietnamese accounting and tax regulations.
Ensure accounting practices comply with Vietnamese Accounting Standards (VAS) and internal policies.

2. Tax Compliance

Prepare and submit periodic tax declarations including VAT and other relevant taxes.
Monitor tax obligations and ensure timely payments to the state budget.
Handle tax finalization processes and support tax refund procedures where applicable.
Work with tax authorities and government agencies during audits or inspections.

3. FDI & Regulatory Reporting

Prepare required reports for FDI entities in accordance with regulatory requirements.
Handle investment capital implementation reports, foreign loan reports, and other statutory filings.
Coordinate documentation and financial data preparation for annual audits or regulatory reviews.

4. Financial & Management Reporting

Prepare periodic financial statements (monthly, quarterly, annually).
Produce management reports including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow reports.
Analyze financial data to support operational and strategic decision-making.
Provide financial insights and updates to the Director and management team.

5. Payroll & Administrative Accounting

Process payroll, social insurance contributions, and personal income tax for employees.
Prepare and submit social insurance declarations and related reports to the relevant authorities.
Calculate payroll and ensure accurate employee compensation records.
Prepare employment contracts and related employee documentation based on company templates.
Review and verify financial terms in contracts and agreements.
Monitor regulatory changes related to accounting and taxation.
Support implementation of accounting improvements and internal controls.

Required Experience

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Auditing, or related fields.
2-3 years of experience in accounting or financial operations.
Strong understanding of Vietnamese Accounting Standards and tax regulations.
Experience working with accounting software (MISA, FAST, or similar).
Experience supporting multiple entities or FDI companies is a strong advantage.
Comfortable working in a fast-growing startup environment.
