Job Title: Senior Accountant

Location: At Client's Office - District 1, Ho Chi Minh City

Working Time: Monday – Friday

Job Type: Full-time

Reporting To: CFO

About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Seinor Accountant to manage local statutory compliance, tax reporting, and financial close processes. The role also includes supporting day-to-day accounting operations and working closely with both internal teams and external stakeholders.

This position requires strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure full compliance with local accounting standards and tax regulations
Manage month-end and year-end closing processes accurately and on time
Prepare and submit statutory financial reports and tax filings (VAT, CIT, WHT, etc.)
Oversee daily accounting operations, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and accruals
Liaise with external auditors and tax authorities during audits and inspections
Stay updated on changes in local accounting and tax laws, ensuring timely implementation
Collaborate with finance and cross-functional teams on financial matters and reporting
Identify opportunities for process improvements and support implementation

Job Requirement

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Professional certification (CPA, ACCA, or equivalent) preferred
4-7 years of relevant accounting experience, ideally in a multinational or fast-paced environment.
Strong knowledge of local GAAP, tax laws, and financial reporting standards
Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
High attention to detail, proactive mindset, and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Experience in a client-facing or high-standard environment is an advantage
Big4 experience is an advantage
