DESCRIPTION

YouNet Group is seeking a General Accountant to ensure accuracy, compliance, and transparency in all accounting and tax activities, while also supervising and supporting the company's financial and business operations and developing the accounting team's capabilities. The focus will be on the following four areas:

1. Financial Accounting & Reporting

Controlling daily accounting transactions and aggregated data for the Company and its member companies.

Ensuring accounting records are accurate, recorded in the correct accounting period, and compliant with internal financial policies.
Reviewing the reasonableness and validity of accounting documents.
Performing monthly, quarterly, and annual closings, preparing and reviewing financial reports in accordance with VAS (and IFRS, if applicable).
Coordinating with auditors, tax consultants, and relevant authorities as required.
Ensuring the accuracy and reasonableness of data in management reports.
Participating in building the management accounting reporting system.

2. Tax Management

Review declarations, payments, and settlements for various taxes (VAT, corporate income tax, personal income tax, contractor tax, etc.).
Analyze tax risks and provide recommendations, proposing optimal solutions for legal compliance.
Monitor and regularly update on legal regulations and new circulars related to tax and accounting.
Work with tax authorities during audits and inspections.

3. Operation

Support the operational control of the Accounting department. Control accounting processes across purchasing, sales, payments, expenses, and fixed assets.
Advise and make recommendations to relevant departments on accounting, finance, and tax regulations to ensure optimal benefits for the Company and compliance with regulations.
Monitor and control the P&L for the companies.
Monitor and manage cash flow, accounts receivable and payable, and internal advances.
Ensure smooth flow of accounting data and connectivity between departments.
Support the Chief Accountant and Head of F&A in analyzing financial results, controlling costs, and budgeting.
Participate in and execute departmental projects as assigned.

4. Management & Leadership

Manage, train, and develop the accounting team; build a disciplined yet supportive work environment.
Plan and assign tasks based on each member's capabilities, and monitor progress and quality.
Proactively propose process improvements, automate operations, and enhance the efficiency of the accounting department.
Serve as a liaison between accounting, finance, and other departments to ensure smooth, effective coordination.

REQUIREMENTS

1. Qualifications & Experience

University graduate in finance, banking, accounting, or auditing. Professional certifications such as ACCA, CPA, or CMA are an advantage.
5-7 years of accounting experience, including at least 3 years in a General Accountant, Supervisory, or equivalent position.
Thorough understanding of VAS and Vietnamese tax regulations; knowledge or experience with IFRS/ERP systems is preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge of accounting/ERP software (Fast, Misa, Bravo, SAP, Odoo, etc.) is preferred; ability to apply AI to work is an advantage.
Skills in consolidated reporting and transfer pricing are an advantage.
Experience working in technology, media, or data analytics companies is an advantage.
