We are now seeking a passionate and dedicated Maths Teacher (Maternity Cover) to join our vibrant BVIS HCMC team.

Key Responsibilities

As Secondary Maths Teacher, you will:

Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons tailored to diverse student needs.
Plan creative, interactive, stimulating lessons that inspire curiosity and challenge students.
Maintain high expectations for all students and foster strong teacher-student relationships.
Integrate technology effectively into teaching and learning.
Assess student progress and provide clear feedback for improvement.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop schemes of learning and share best practices.
Participate in professional learning sessions and contribute to departmental development.
Communicate effectively with parents on academic and pastoral matters.
Involve in the organization and delivery of extra-curricular activities, school events and competitions.
Contribute to school blogs and maintain high-quality displays in classrooms and public areas.
Ensure safeguarding and health & safety standards in all learning environments.

What we're looking for

A relevant Degree plus a teaching qualification.
Minimum 3 years of recent classroom teaching experience.
Good knowledge of the English National Curriculum.
Excellent classroom practice and ability to differentiate for diverse learners.
A reflective practitioner who is open to continual professional learning and growth.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Positive outlook, adaptability, and proactive approach to school improvement.
Strong interpersonal skills and a good sense of humor.
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare.
