Job Description



Key Accountabilities
    • Operational Performance
    • Ensure the warehouse operates at peak efficiency by managing end-to-end warehouse operations (receiving,inbound, putaway, picking, outbound)
    • Operational Evaluation
    • Process Design and Improvement managing end-to-end warehouse operations (receiving, inbound, putaway, picking, outbound)
    • In-charge of the warehouse software system, e.g.
    • Ensure results of all warehouse activities are properly logged into the system
    • Monitor system for issues and errors by warehouse staff, and resolve/escalate where necessary
    • Responsible for managing and maintaining all goods in storage - reconciliation of data in the system to on-ground inventory
    • Manage day-to-day operations, including, but not limited to:
    • Support all customer requests and requirements to achieve service level targets
    • Operational manpower scheduling and assignment for daily activities (time-tabling)
    • Execution of operational tasks as and when needed
    • Supervise subordinates to carry out operational tasks with the highest level of quality and efficiency (man-management)
    • General warehouse housekeeping, e.g. manage stock levels and replenishment of operating consumables
    • Ensure quality control and general warehouse safety
    • Conduct training for warehouse assistants on the latest processes
    • Gather and interpret qualitative and quantitative data in order to identify operational issues and gaps, and provide solutions to improve efficiency and adherence to service levels
    • Ensure that process documentation and training materials are updated as needed
    • Operational excellence assess current warehouse operations and suggest improvements to better manage warehouse utilization, inventory handling, and storage processes
    • Work closely with various internal stakeholders to conceptualize and implementing quality improvements, and ensuring process documentation and training materials are updated as needed
    • Performance Tracking and Reporting
    • Establish, monitor, and manage operational goals/KPIs for performance tracking and improvement
    • Develop, prepare and present reports (daily, weekly, biweekly, monthly, and/or ad hoc) to effectively convey operational performance Stakeholder Management
    • Coordinate with various teams to discuss requirements and align resource allocation for successful execution
    • Monitor project performance with regular reporting and reviews for management purposes
    • Project Planning and Execution
    • Identify and scope operational requirements for new inventory management services
    • Work with internal stakeholders to analyze and evaluate project scope and requirements and develop processes execute the project
    • Oversee the coordination and execution of project until project completion


Key Requirements
    • Experience Required
    • 3 - 5 years of operations management experience, preferably in the logistics/supply chain industry
    • Prior experience in a warehouse working on logistics operations
    • Understanding of warehousing and bulk storage as a service education /QualificationsDegree or equivalent, ideally in Logistics and Supply Chain ManagementSkills / Attributes
    • Capable to process new information on the go and be comfortable with ambiguity
    • Meticulous, detail-oriented and process-driven
    • Highly organized and responsible individual
    • Strong people management skills
    • Willingness to work hands-on in a warehouse and help out with on-ground warehouse processes functional
