Job Description:

1. Machine operation

• Perform required maintenance and service Maintain proper record of machines & machine service history
• Train technicians according to SOP related to auto sorting machine
• Supervise and train production workers to operate equipment correctly

• Attend promptly to machine breakdowns & maintenance complaints
• Solve machine problems as detected (basic repairs issue or problem only)
• Find defects and make suggestions to Engineer for equipment improvement

• Ensure all unused machine spare parts, working tools, consumable parts are kept at assigned location after use
• Update Parts/Tools procurement plan

• Perform ad hoc or other jobs as assigned by engineer
• Participate in installation and commissioning of new equipment
• Assist Lead Engineers to review SOP and maintenance program
• Obtaining / designing special component / fixture / fittings

• Nitec / Higher Nitec / Diploma in Electrical & Electronic / Mechatronics / Mechanical / Instrumentation Engineering
• 3-5 years of relevant working experience in electronic maintenance and repair work on belt, conveyor and pulley systems.
• Have strong analytical skills and capable of generating comprehensive service reports
• Have strong knowledge in repairing mechanical parts e.g. Conveyor belt, roller, barring etc.
• Able to read and utilize mechanical & electrical schematics to assist in troubleshooting and resolution of mechanical and electronic components
• Able to multi-task, priorities workloads and work in a dynamic environment
